The Ministry of Education's Friendly Provision of Diversified Period Products policy officially took effect on August 1, 2023. Under this policy, schools at all levels and Ministry-affiliated educational facilities are encouraged to provide a range of period products in an accessible and inclusive manner. Schools are also required to distribute diversified period products to students facing financial or other disadvantages, while respecting students' diverse preferences regarding product types and materials through flexible and student-centered distribution methods.
According to the findings of the 2024 Survey on the Implementation of the Campus Friendly Provision of Diversified Period Products Policy, one of the most commonly identified resource gaps among school faculty and staff is the lack of educational materials related to period product distribution and period education. These resources are, in fact, essential components of policy communication and creating a period-friendly campus environment.
Although schools are now required to provide period products on campus, many still lack clear implementation guidelines as well as supporting promotional and educational materials. To help address this need, With Red has created a series of free posters, educational materials, and a practical guide on how to provide period products on campus. These resources are available for educators, school staff, students, and student organizations to download, print, and use at no cost.
In addition, the With Red website features "Resources for Period Education" section, where new teaching materials and educational resources are continuously being developed and published.
We warmly invite educators, students, and student organizations to make full use of these resources and join us in continuing to monitor the implementation of the policy, so that its goals can be realized more comprehensively across all schools.
